Adobe Photoshop CS

simple one...

Use the Type Tool

Click Type Tool
Select the fonts and size
Click on where you want the water mark to be on the pic
Type in your text.
Go to your layers popup, change opacity & fill accordingly.

If you want to make a logo, same thing, just opacity & fill the image.

You can use the paint tool to achieve the above-mentioned action also.

Is there is different between opacity & fill?
How come I do either one the effect is the same?

If you are familiar with Photoshop, you know that you can create layer styles. Opacity affects both the image on the layer and the layer style. Fill only affects the image on the layer but NOT the layer style.

An example of this is:
You apply a layer style that outlines the image. You want to retain the outline but not the image itself. In this situation, you will make Fill to 0%. It is this kind of flexibility that make people pay for Photoshop.

I hope my explanation is clear.
