Hi all
This is my 1st post & my entrance into the world of SLR.
Like I told Joanne " I've always been a noob photographer, point & click was all I ever cared for. My wife just got me the Canon 400D as a birthday gift & it has opened my eyes to the WOW factor in the world of photography"
So here I am taking my 1st step into amateur photography & hopefully I can learn alot from you guys & enjoy the experience.
I'm looking forward to the SLCC photograry workshop too - Joanne spent like an hour chatting with me! Shes great !!! :coolnod:

"WOW".....is our turn to say "WOW........WOW..... what a lovely wife you have!" I have friends who have to give up photography due to their girl friend or wife! But your wife not only support your hobby but also buy you a camera as a birthday! I think there are many ppl envy you to have such a lovely wife! Now the only thing you can do and must do is to learn how to take better picture, then take more nice picture of her. Of cos if you can share her pictures with us even better la! Hahaha!
Anyway thank you for giving SLCC a chance to share the photography world with you. see you on lesson 1.
Oh ya........ also a very big welcome you to our forum! . :cheer: :clap2: Really hope to see you here often! Post more, more, more........! We also hope you can be our "Active Member" than "new member" soon. We really need more members to support the forum! Many thanks to your support! Cheers!
I remember when I had to ditch my CoolPix 5700 for a D100 near 4 years ago.
It was exhilarating and exciting to move on. Don't think you'll ever regret moving on. I've since enjoyed photography as a hobby, rarely doing some paid events, but never looked back.
Most importantly, you have somebody buying the camera for you. I don't have leh. Your wife got any sisters? LOL!
