Sony come out with the new alpha 700... quite impressive. Had the chance to play with the 3 Carl Zeiss lenses too. Shiok :)

Am impressive with what Sony came up with. Love the colours contrast straight out from the camera. Even shooting at High ISO seem to be noiseless. Love the eye focus aiming too. :clap:

I had the chance to toy with it a while today... It's cool! The feel of the body+grip is very good I would say, as it is built ergonomically to the contours of your hand. It has decent weight (lighter than my 1D MK2). :clap:

One of the better camera after the KM 7D. :thumbsup: With that kind of AF and burst rate, it is a really pity that the only lens beyond 300mm is a mirror reflex 500mm f8 i.e. no fast telephoto lens. Hell, what I am saying? They don't even have a slow long telephoto lens -only short range "peashooters". :rofl:

This A700 ... the 'chik chik chik chik chik' was my love for it at first sight ! The built & the feel , especially with the VG ... Its really a WOW !

Ah, don't be so sure, there's already the:

Minolta 400mm f/4.5 Apo G
Minolta 600mm f/4.0 Apo G

I heard that's working pretty well with the a700... There are two white telephoto lenses in rumor... Hmm, with the current heading, we could be seeing newer, updated versions of the above-mentioned lenses. :victory:

Always the same for me , good wife is the MOF , what i want , i asked her . If she say Yes , i :cheer: , if she says no ... i :mad2: ... She will have all the Cash & i have what i want ...

Yea , its true that cash is power . But if photography as a hobby without the proper gears ... It is going to be a very sad hobby ... :grin:

I just only hope to have them owned in time to come ... Now is still dreaming ...

hahaha... wah lau eh... you have 16 lenses... and I've got 4 - 2 of which are basically backups should my first two fail... your gear requirement quite high sia... :p

I am getting the best for my A700 . Good body needs good lenses for i am not a good camera-man . Hope to learn & improve using the best !:clap:

Hehe... keep shooting, I'd probably have gotten just as many lenses as you, but I'm on a shoestring budget here, so I'm just sticking with what I have for now... :)

The A700 is a capable machine, just hope that the cameraman doesn't let it down... :o
