The last batch from Konica-Minolta into Singapore was sold for only $2300 a piece but the owners waited more than 6 months after ordering. I am not willing to pay Sony their jacked-up prices and haven't bought a single Sony lens to date. That's why I placed this in with the rest which are no longer available.

anyway, do go to HK to get the Sony version of the lens, way cheaper over there. 3k brand new IIIRC..

Minolta Mount!-- for 50/60 only? Thanks for the offer but I understand MD mount lenses will not work on A mount cameras without an adapter which I do not have.
I have found what I need except
3) Minolta AF 200 F4 Macro APO G
4) Minolta AF 28-70 F2.8 G
However, I am looking only for Minolta G lenses as I already have "alternatives" for that range.

And i am looking for this Minolta AF 200 F4 Macro APO G too ... Do share with me your experience on these 2 if you have your hands on them .The Minolta AF 3X-1X was also posted in B&S section of another forum but the asking price was too much for something I would seldom use and thus I decided I don't need it. The following are reviews and pictures from people who have used it:
http://www.dyxum.com/reviews/lenses/reviews.asp?IDLens=199
http://www.pbase.com/pganzel/maxxum_3x1x_macro
http://www.mhohner.de/sony-minolta/mzoom.php
The 200mm f4 macro would be more suitable since I prefer to keep a little more distance from the subject but I have not received any offers yet.
