aiyo.. think the guy used a wide angle lens to take the photo, so got distortion lah... :P Kind of a good news if Sony is coming out this zoom range as its more for 1.25x crop or FF

By the way, this is a working test copy. The photos appeared on a Malaysian photography forum...

Tks. It'll be the first CZ lens with SSM and I am looking forward to reviews on its performance. Sony will then have SSM lenses ranging from 24 - 300mm. Anyone know when this lens will be officially released?

Never mind. Found out it's been announced and will be released real soon together with another G lens. They are already accepting pre-orders per this site:

Super xiong actually... considering I bought the 70-200G at sgd 3060... minus $500, and it'd be the price of this lens... so yeah, super xiong.

Yeap, it's primarily because this is the lens that's going to directly compete in terms of features with the other 24-70mm lenses of the other brands.

From the test shots so far i've seen on various websites so far, there's a lot of resolution in this lens.

I'm sticking to the G optics though. and I hope there'd be a successor to the 28-70G... :victory:

I , I am going to compare seriously between my G & this upcoming ZA . If quality of sharpness & bokeh wins , i might get it ... This ZA already wins by the closer distance to shoot , the 4mm wider & the SSM and of course , i believed its very much lighter compared to the G .:confused1:
