Dear All,

We will like to heard from the members of this forums. In what way we can improve on this forum. This is to get the members to open up to post pictures or comments ( Bad or Good). It seen that Members are afraid to post may i know the reasons from the ground.

If you don't post you never learn the mistake done. I know there are a few of us who give bad critics. But did you learn from the mistake you do. I encourage the members to post, We have a lot of seasoned photographers in here which give very good views in composition and posing. Even other type of photography there are different view.

If you guys been around for long, those active members you will know what i mean, look at the comments given are they concrete for your learning.

Members can learn or break the rules in photography there no right or wrong . It only are you willing to listen to advice and create your own style of works .

We are in a family of photography works, we learn from other and in this forum we welcome :cheer: and encourage members to be a part of us built up the community to a higher level.

In short, post more and learn from other seasoned members' views

Dear members,

Do you have any more suggestions on improving the forum or rather what are your concerns?

I did ask around but the answer is: scare will cos "chat war"! When member A ask to C&C either the members A or other members will not happy then start to "fight" in the forum. They just don't want to see here become XX place!

They said they rather to see here "clear and green" then a lot of sh** here! Maybe as PK 2 said can change the comments to star or thumb up or some other icon.

Like that maybe will be better right? But there is another problem: members will not learn how to improve the pictures! Hum ... how ah? I also very "luan" liao! Hahahah ....... talk like no talk hor! Anyone can give better ideal?

How about using star rating and comment only can be see by the threadstarter? Threadstarter will decide whether the comments are allow to show to public.
When he get bad comment at least no one sees it. When he get good comment he can choose to show to public. Such way the forum will see only good comment. :coolnod:

Anyone can give better ideal? Let's expand that idea a little. Hold a weekly/monthly contest and let *registered* members vote for the pic of the week month pic. Winner gets points which can be accumulated to exchange for prize e.g. studio time etc.

Actually Stanley want to have a photo contest for the forum members long ago but due to some IT problem that's way we drag till now. Now we have littlegenie and Madmacs two new admin think the contest can be soon! But just let them have some time to do some house keeping first! They really need times! Just wait it will be soon right? littlegenie and Madmacs?
