Replica batt using in EOS400S

Hi guys, I try to purchase an extra battery; but the original battery very expensive. So I have search around, then find out the replica battery is much more cheaper then original Canon NB-2LH battery. The brand of replica battery is Phottix with provide 900mAH, does this safe to used in EOS400D. Not only this, I heard the replica battery might not able to charge using original charger. Is this true.

east gears are good for third party batteries, but best is buying orginal

I bot 2 from this seller, had been using for almost 1 year. And can charged with original charges. Two of this is only one third of the original price
