Sony has found its Cyber-shot T-series popular with customers thanks to attractive designs with slim, compact bodies, and an emphasis on ease of use.

The latest addition to the line is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T300, which includes an image-stabilized 5x optical zoom lens, branded with the famous Carl Zeiss name and coupled with a 10.1 effective megapixel CCD imager. Dominating almost the entire rear surface of the camera is a huge 3.5" LCD display with touch-screen capability. The Sony T300 stores its images and movies on Memory Stick Duo cards or in a not-so-generous 15MB of built-in flash memory. Other features include an intelligent scene recognition mode, updated face detection functionality which now diferentiates between the faces of adults and children, and more.

The Sony Cybershot T300 hits US stores from March 2008, priced at $400.
