y r my pics in cr2 format? my photoshop elements cannot open ... :(

Photoshop element cannot recognised raw file, ie .cr2 files. you need to use other software to convert to jpg first, then editing in element.

dont take photo using RAW, change to L fine. then will be saved as jpg.

using DPP u must use the latest version of it from ur 400D

DPP can convert ur CR2 to jpg when using batch process

Photoshop must have a raw convertor in their website try DL from it

If I'm not wrong, 300D uses the older Canon RAW file format which can be opened by most imaging software. 400D uses CR2 which is the current format.

You can make your software open CR2 files by patching it. You can download the patch, or rather plug-in from Adobe web site. Contact me if you need help finding it :)
