We had decided to teach this course in the concept of an Actual Day Wedding is because among all the events, most would find that taking photos on the day of wedding the hardest. Being the hardest, if one can master it, all other events would be an easy task.
This course not only covers flashlight techniques but also covers outdoor techniques and basic studio lighting techniques.

Stanley would like to share his experience and skills with people who love photography like you and me. Let enjoy the fun and joy of the photography world with SLCC.

This is a brief outline and the date of the course for 36th intake:

Lesson 1 - Photography Basics (27/09/08) Sat 07pm-09pm or later
Lesson 2 -Wedding Day Workflow (04/10/08) Sat 07pm-09pm or later
Lesson 3 - Sale and Negotiation (11/10/08) Sat 07pm-09pm or later
Lesson 4 - Flash Techniques (18/10/08) Sat 07pm-09pm or later
Lesson 5 - Outdoor Photo Shoots theory (25/10/08) Sat 07pm-09pm or later
Lesson 6 - Outdoor Shoot (26/10/08) Sun 02pm-06pm or later
Lesson 7 - Outdoor Riview (01/11/08) Sat 07pm-09pm or later
Lesson 8 - Studio Lighting Techniques (Basic Lighting) (08/11/08) Sat 07pm-09pm or later
Lesson 9 - Studio Shoot (Practical) (15/11/08) Sat 07pm-09pm or later
Lesson 10 - Studio Review (22/11/08) Sat 07pm-09pm or later


Time and Venue
The opening for the 35th intake is on Fri from 08pm - 10pm but usually the class will end later than the expected timing. For some students who may miss some lessons due to unforseen circumstances, we will be glad to replace those classes at no additional cost!

Cost
The cost of this course is $400 which includes 2 practical shoots, both indoor and outdoor.

Equipments
Guys, don't buy yet! Come to our studio and Stanley will give some tips and pointers on what camera & flash you can purchase without burning a hole in your pocket. In addition, he will advise on the model & brand that will be useful to you.

Completion of the course!
After completing the course, all of you are more than welcome to drop by @SLCC any time to ask questions on photography and Stanley will be glad to answer your queries. SLCC often shoots for charities and sponsors free photo services for organisations. As an added priviledge, all students will get a chance to shoot an event if available. This will then be an opportunity for students to experience and practice their skills.

Pricing/Negotiation
Besides learning on how to shoot and control your flash techniques, all students will learn on how created and negotiate with customers on pricing and package.

Portfolio/Photographs
As the amount of photos that is taken on Actual Wedding Day Photography is enormous ( So we try not to post any photos ), we encourage all interested parties to drop by our shop to have a preview on what you will expecting to see Stanley's and some of our past students work.

This is a 3 in 1 course! You can learn some basic flash light techniques (good enough to take even and any indoor shoot), outdoor techniques, basic studio techniques plus some basic set up of the studio lighting and learn how to use light meter in the studio as well! I will change the lesson to Tue instead of Sat due to some of the students need to work on Sat. Will confirm the day after I check with those who had registered. If all are ok with the Tue class I will close this thread and update the new schedule with a new thread. So those who can not make it on Sat class due to work or family day now can consider liao! Thanks!

Well it is not only the amount of time been spent that worth the money but also the knowledge that instill into us... the instructor is really good and approachable. Sometimes the instructor damn funny... :rofl:
