walaneh, I just bought my 40d from ms color at $1870. tmd. Should have waited a bit longer and got the 90D...:knock1:
I got this feeling the salesman at ms color swapped my battery for an old one- When I opened the 40d box, the camera battery plastic bag cover seemed to be opened and reopened several times- why do they need to take out the brand new battery for a brand new camera? The shop should already have a test battery for testing display sets right? Somehow, I feel the salesman swapped an old battery for my new one at purchase point. Called him but he insisted the battery was new (what other answer could I expect...)

So, bros, to take note when buying at ms color. My friend bought some lens at cathay and the quote was cheaper at Cathay, but i decided to get at ms color as nearer house. This battery thing really making me feel very shortchanged :mad2:

hmm, I bought most my stuff at MS color. I am a happy customer there.
As for the battery issue, I am not sure about your case.
But for me, they always test the new camera with the battery that came with the box. If not u go back with a spolit battery then how?
As what espn had said, the battery that came with the camera will have around 30% to 40% charged. If you got one that can't even powered up the camera, then you better exchange the camera on the spot. As it will most likely unable to retain charges any more.
