anyone here use non-traditional photographic lighting for photography?
i sometimes use handheld flashlights & headlamps for tiny subjects... :thumbsup:

eh, thats alot of heat for that little light, pus (more like minus...) it goes out in a very short time.... :sweat:
by comparison, tealight candles are a much better alternative, but have to be more careful dealing with them cos liquidified of wax & open flames.
still, i find any flame produce more heat than light. if it produces a specific kind of light that does the job why not? :)

heh, i used to used flashlights for lighting up small subjects. i have not tried lighting painting though. sounds like a fun thing to do. :grin:
