I have noticed an increase in membership to SgShoot recently. Many of them are from 'the other' forum.

I have also noticed that these new members (even those usually opinionated ones) turned quiet and shy out of sudden.

Folks..... A good forum will not grow and progress without your support and contribution. Post something... Say something... Help around... We need your voices.

I joined this forum with the same passion as JT-Fied, hoping that I've found a photography forum that is more friendly and more inclusive. And I believed I've found it. But seriously, the activity level here is really too low.

I played me part initially to chat more and try to boost up the noise level, but after some time, everything will die down. When I go the main page and see almost every sub-forum with last post dated 2 weeks, 1 week, 5 days, etc, I also a bit sian already.

We really need all the members to get involved more, but how can we achieve that?

I organised it about a month or so back it was a free for all shoot that i posted on "you know where" but i got served a warning there coz i posted my invitation for part 2 in kopitiam and the Judge Dread of CS came and serve me warning and closed my thread so too bad i wun open it to those members and what they lost is SGShoot's gain!!!

War rages out quite often at the other side. I was in the centre of the war zone in the Fujifilm forum once. I didn't let my feelings get the better of me and continued to express myself rationally and respectfully. If not, I would have been banned too. It is a good idea to do charity work, but approval/license from the authorities is required. Sounds familiar? ;)

That's still not as bad as people whom we know make enough money from photography forum as moderators, which eventually able to afford to buy themselves an Audi, BWM or Mercedes.
