Folks, I was talking to DOG@SG last week about night photography in general and I was struck by an idea that I think is quite interesting. Most of us have shot night scenes one way or another but how many have shot a night scene after the rain or while its drizzling for that matter. :)
Forget about cathcing the last rays of sunset and your vast cityscape. Think getting shots in the narrow streets of Chinatown and Boat Quay instead of shooting the grand vista of Marina Bay. What I'm talking about here are capturing images of the rain drenched streets and the myriad of interesting reflections from the puddles of water. Can you imagine the kind of photo opportunities that could be had?
I have checked the weather forecast and rain has been forecasted for pretty much the next 14 days. I'm proposing to do this next Friday night (weather permitting) after nightfall. If you are interested, post your nic here. :)
