Hello amigos,

I am using my mac to create slideshows for my pictures. The program that i use is iDVD as i think thats the only one that is available by default but i find that there are certain restrictions like "one song throughout", not much variety in the transitions, not quite impressive.

Any mac users here can intro me one which has more functions and can also easily link the file to upload to webby?

Cheers!

i would recommend imovie '09. for my last slideshow i used imovie '09. multiple music tracks and can upload to youtube. i found this version much better than its predecessors in terms of output quality.

another alternative is to use iphoto '08 and earlier, but it only supports 1 music track. if you want multiple music tracks you will first need to combine tracks in another application like quicktime player and then use it in iphoto.

Similarly, you could use Adobe Lightroom. The program allows you to create slideshows in PDF format so that you can email them your clients or to post online.

you can export to quicktime .mov or mp4 file and upload that anywhere you want.
