Budget about $200. Looking for a telephoto range from 75mm onwards to complement my kit lens.

I had thought of a prime lens, since its $199 but the range just doesn't suit me because I'm looking for street candid shots.

I don't mind secondhand, or paying more than $200.

Anyone have any good recommendations? Thanks!

a 75-300mm kit might suit your budget and your needs.

The cheapest and good performance lens that I can recommend is the Nikkor 50-200mm VR at around $220 for a used copy in near mint condition.
