I have to admit that I am not as active as I was at the another side. Tone down myself liao. Getting tired of all these discussions, feeling unappreciated by the committee who value money more than pure knowledge.

Anyway, I will help regardless but only to a few people whom I know.

was surprise to hear that from most people. also saddened by this type of sharing. not a good way to share.

should have join our sessions because we don't teach you to use P mode. we teaches you to use M mode and which naturally you'll progress to your own My-mode.

most of the time i use M, S and A mode. these modes are functionalities to a photog. it's important the photog knows the modes and uses the modes he/she prefers given a situation. i don't tell people to use P mode.

as of metering,...... one have to understand how the type of metering work. from there by shooting more with various metering...... one will come to know how and know which is best for his/her own. in short there's no specific ones to use. it all depends on situations.

when P means u let the cam take care of the rest. so it may not be what you want in the end and the man behind the camera has no controls. besides the joy of photography is also knowing your camera. squeezzzzz it a little to give you greater pictures! not letting it squeeze you as in the end usually it's not what you wanted.

i only use P if someone else shooting me with my camera but usually it's not the case.

i mean for a photography course you would wanna teach someone to just use P mode but rather go thru the basic relationship of shutter and aperture rite?

Sounds interesting..... We shoot and we develop at KT. From there, we see how good we are at the art of seeing.

Yes, this is a true test of your 'kang hu', not your equipment. All of us use the same disposable, same lens, same film, same lab and same papers. This is the ultimate assessment of our ability to see and to compose.

Best of all, no digital means cannot PP. For those of you who always rely on Photoshop or similar software..... this is the time to unveil your weaknesses.
