Anyone interested in buying? I think street price is around S$2,400 for the D300s.

I am interested to buy the..... D300, now that D300s is out. :coolnod:
Frankly, I don't need video, 7 fps. twin card slots, better AF (I use manual focus anyway), virtual horizontal layout, quiet shutter mode and wider flash coverage (I use a SB900).
Or.... I shall wait for the new Fujifilm DSLR to release. :clap2:

How do you find the colour rendition of D300 vs S5 Pro and D50? What is your order of preference? With your experience, have you considered D700? These are all burning questions although they seem boliao to many.

My order of preference for 'out-of-camera' color rendition:
Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro
Nikon D50
Nikon D3x (if you are able to get its white balance right)
Nikon D300
Nikon D700
My all-time favorite 'out-of-camera' color rendition:
Fujifilm FinePix S2 Pro (Until today, it is still the King of Colors)
Kodak DCS Pro 14n (Full-frame CMOS sensor. Very 'film-like' colors. Better resolution than Canon EOS 1Ds)
Actually... no interest... D3X is still too exp... D3 no major improvement over D2X apart from sensor, so I'm still sticking with my trusty 860IS :)

I am planning to get the D300s by the end of this month or the next ^^
It's finally time to designate my existing cam as a backup body.. :)

Upgrading to D700, D3 or D3X? I am still saving $5 a day. I should be able to get my D3 in 4 years' time. :coolnod:

It is satisfying to know that D50 has better out of camera colours compared to its expensive cousins. Regret not getting a used S2 Pro in excellent condition from another forumer a few months ago. I am lover of fine colours.
