View Full Version : which is the real fujifilm green color?

hi guys,
i am having a small headache. recently i was doing a shoot and when i got home i got a shock. on my fuji s5pro lcd its nice as nice as when i open in photoshop cs4( as on the left)

but when i proof setup to my monitor color, it was the one on the right. so big difference.
so which is the real fuji greens? my monitor was calibrated using huey a few mths ago.

What is your color space? aRGB or sRGB?
Otherwise, you can email a JPEG copy to me. You still have my email right?

yes i do. the thing is i think the proof profile. cus if b4 proof is like on the left and after proof its on the right. but the right one seem more accurate. as long as i save as the file and tried upload to flickr it shows the one on the right even if i just reszie it.

We had already discuss this matter privately, and I am quite sure your problem lies within the Photoshop color settings.
I used to have similar problem as yours but not anymore.

Looking at the two pics from your monitor, I would say the right pic is the correct Fuji green. After shooting so much of the green plants and garden,
I find the green shade on the left a bit too saturated and the yellow flowers are not of the correct shade of yellow with too much green tint over it.
