Fujifilm FUN Outing: 'Cityscape & Symmetry' 19th September 2009

Theme: Cityscape & Symmetry
Where: Clarke Quay and Robertson Walk areas
What: Meet up, TC and shoot shoot
When: Saturday, 19th September 2009 (4:30pm till 7:30pm)
Location to meet up: Burger King fast food restaurant at The Central, 6 Eu Tong Sen Street, #01-23 to 26.

Let's get our hands dirty again. We'll be shooting buildings, bridges, quayside scenery, dining and entertainment establishments, etc....

**Must show your Fuji camera, or a camera loaded with Fuji film when you come**


We'll proceed to Liang Court for refreshments and chit-chat AFTER the shoot (bring at least S$5 as we may go for FREE FLOW drinks [cold and hot drinks available] at an eatery there).
We recommend that you take public transportation. The nearest MRT station is Clarke Quay. There are several buses serving that vicinity.
If you drive, please park your vehicle either at Liang Court, UE Square or the outdoor parking lot beside River Valley Building (next to Liang Court).


What to bring:

Your FinePix camera (be it compact or DSLR) / camera with Fuji film
Wide-angle / Super wide-angle lens
Polarizing / Graduate / ND filters / Stars (if needed)
Fully charged batteries
Empty memory cards
Tripod (if you're shooting till night time, or don't mind carrying it around)
Drinking water


What to wear:

Lightweight and breathable polo shirt or T-shirt
Lightweight shorts or trousers
Comfortable walking shoes / sneakers (We will be walking at least 1-2 km)
Baseball cap or hat (optional)
Sun shades (optional)

Regardless, I am still very excited about this outing because Jacob and I have not seen some of you for months ever since our last outing to Kampung Glam in May. It is a good time to meet-up and share new information. :thumbsup:

If you are taking a bus, alight outside Central (or across Central. Take the overhead bridge) along Eu Tong Sen Street, and walk towards the right. Burger King is next to the MRT entrance.

The outing was a success despite the gray and gloomy weather. Everybody enjoyed themselves in our own special ways. We had a wonderful pizza dinner at Saizeriya Italian Restaurant.
