Photographers often spend thousands of dollars on professional equipment, but most don't understand the importance of using digital SLR camera bags. Since SLR cameras are highly susceptible to scratching or damage from transporting, and have many delicate components that need to be protected, you must take steps to maintain your digital camera and help make your digital camera last longer to avoid expensive repairs. And not only does a camera bag protect your gear, but it also makes you more efficient.

The Olympus Micro 4 3 Camera is better known as the Olympus Pen EP-1, which is a 12.3 megapixels Micro Four Thirds Interchangeable Lens digital camera. This new launch by Olympus proves to be a step up and a step different in catering for the consumer market especially because of it's general make up to begin with. The body looks like a remake of the old vintage camera with a sophisticated edge. The slim compact feel quickly charms anyone who takes a fresh look at it (I had my chance and was quickly hooked on it!).

In order to digitize photos, you must buy a decent scanner. If your budget allows you, a scanner can be bought around $250 and should make photos digital at 1200 DPI (dots per inch). Obviously, the more dots per inch, the more detailed and clearer you pictures will be. If you are on a fixed budget, you can still pick up a good quality scanner around $100 and it will transfer photos to digital at 600 DPI.

Before any post processing can occur, the image must be "tone mapped" so that resulting HDR image is viewable and editable. If you recall, tone mapping is the HDR software's way to "compress" the dynamic range to a range that can be displayed using today's media/monitors. So basically the brightest parts of an image are darkened, while the darker areas are lightened up providing more detail in both of these areas and bringing the dynamic range to a more central range.

By cutting a sheet of RC paper into 2"x8" strips, you cut down on the amount of waste considerably. While comparing HD movie specifications 'tween the Nikon D90 12.3MP and the Canon Rebel T1i, the Rebel T1i 15.1MP trounces the challenger soundly. If your into capturing HD video, the Canon SLR Rebel T1i should get your attention, with it's thirty frames per second at a recording resolution of 720p, for a max recording time of 18 minutes. The D90 Digital SLR is good enough at 5 minutes of high def video time, and 720p HD, with twenty four frames per second.

I've seen the Canon Rebel T1i priced for anywhere from $800 to $1200 dollars online. That includes some of the big online retailers, auction sites, small mom and pop web stores, and everything in between. This is obviously a case of buyer beware. You need to read the fine print to see what your getting, in terms of accessories and lenses. The biggest deciding factor in price, is usually the lenses included. There are of course other factors that influence pricing as well.
