Newbie here: I got my first DSLR D90

Cannot wait for 3:16 John to bring in the stock since it had been 3 weeks. Sorry Samuel.

I went to CP to get my first DLSR. Was served by Florence Guen. Got my D90 with 18-105mm lens $1700, 8gb memory card $40, nikon lowepro bag $50 and tokina opitcal flter $16..Plus can pay via visa..!! :happy1:

Then I went to get a dry cabinet 30 litre digi case.

Cannot wait for the battery to be fully charged..

All the pros here, any advises? really and totally new to DSLR.

choose the style u prefer to shoot then post so that any good or bad pics the old birds can guide u

Read books, shoot more, and POST! =) Most important of all, keep an open mind on photography because you will only know what style works for you after a while. :jump1:

Definitely must have style. I am learning from these masters here and try to learn from their style. It will be even better if you can think out of the box, challenge your limits and create your own unique style.

i've got style also. i shoot and usually the images taken all buried deep deep in the harddisk and never to be seen anymore.

i guess i lazy........ that's my style!

style usually means quite a few things.

1) is the style you handle your equipments/cameras.
2) is the style you wear during your shoots.
3) is the style you compose your pictures.
4) is the style you expose your image.
5) is the style you post process your images.
6) is the style you print your images.
7) is the style .............................
8) is ........................................
9) ...........................................(i'll leave the rest for others to fill em up).
