Hey, Amberture... since you cook up the name Amberture, perhaps I should call myself "Slutter" LOL!

Anyway, thinking about the blog, I feel it is better than a website, as a blog is more interactive and FUN members are able to comment, or even to post if they have the userer id and password, whereas a website is static. Also, a website would impose too big a burden on the webmaster.I feel this is the way to go...

And then when we grow big and international... we have our own forum along the lines of Nikonians. Even if we can grow to 10% or even 1% of Nikonians that would be some achievement.

I suggest try the coffee opposite, at Long Phung the next time. The Lao Pan Niang and service staff there more pretty and graceful too.

In my opinion, a blog is the BEST option for our needs because:
1. It is interactive, vs website which is just one way flow of information
2. It is very fast and easy to set up and to update
3. Different FUN members can post if they are assigned as "authors".

Of course, website has its value too. But in terms of building a community - which, I assume, is what we all want to do - blogs and forums are far more effective.

In the meantime, maybe we should just put up one page on the website to re-direct traffic to the blog. And when the site is finally up, there certainly ought to be a link to the blog.

KopiOKaya deserves our full support and appreciation for his efforts in getting the blog going, and for generally making FUN active. :clap2: :thumbsup:
