Belle is odd but can be strangely normal at times

Hello.

My username 'belle' does not refer to my beauty (if I had any to boast of) but it is a short form for 'belle epoque' which means beautiful era. I like to read and travel and I cannot be considered as a systematic or meticulous person but I do enjoy colour coding my wardrobe and arranging my books according to height as I find it therapeutic.

I am a point-and-shoot user right from the start and have used the Sony T1 and Canon Ixus 950 IS before deciding to get the Sony Alpha NEX-5 very recently. I also like lomography and polaroids and have owned a fisheye and a super sampler before. Nowadays I get lazy and just use photoshop to achieve effects.

Consider me a super novice and don't ask me anything about aperture, exposure, focus range, lens because I know nothing ... but hopefully I manage to learn something from everyone here.

I must say your misfortune with your Fujifilm FinePix is just a matter of bad luck. I have been using FinePix camera since 2003 and I must say all of them have been reliable so far. Just recently, I had a LCD transplant but that was due to my mishandling and small camera bag.

Fujifilm F.U.N. is not propaganda as we are an independent group and not under the jurisdiction of Fujifilm Singapore. We can say almost anything we want about their cameras, both good and bad.

By the way, I am the co-founder and hampalang of Fujifilm F.U.N. Nice meeting you. :coolnod: I am a photographer by training and a tuition centre co-owner and operator by profession.

She posted liao, you never check out the "balek Kampong Glam" thread arh... ha ha ha, too much photo diarrhoea there, hers maybe got hidden. But very easy to recognise - super wide angle shots. And taken with Sony Nex (5 or 7 or ???) wor!

Meanwhile, when you joining our FUN activities? Or inviting us to sHOOT Malay wedding :cheer:
