CA = Chromatic aberration. It is the yam colour on the edges of object outlines captured in photo.

Chromatic Aberrations.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromatic_aberration

Put it simply, you can see the border of objects in the image is colored by blue/purple fringing. Good lens will avoid such issues.

That's why I also try not to use attachment lens, even teleconvertors also same type of issue.

If you take a look at the picture, it actually looked hazy. Best way to understand the effect is to take a picture without the attachment and see.

Chromatic Aberrations, or CA, is a common symptom in many multicoated lenses, especially the super wide and wide angle lenses. Even the so-called "better" or more expensive lenses exhibit this problem also. If it bugs you, there are several ways to remove it. The most common and quickest way is to use an image editing program such as Photoshop or Lightroom. :victory:

CA is fine with me as long as it is not so serious as to distract the overall image presentation. Even the 35mm fixed lens X100 exhibits some CA under very harsh lighting condition.

The problem is sometimes we see the CA only when we view the pictures on a computer monitor. By then, there is nothing much we can do other than removing it using software or leave it. I usually leave mine alone unless really jiak lat.
